On 3 December, CNR-IRISS hosted the seminar “The Mediterranean Legacy: Mediterranean Cities as Spaces of Migration and Historical Memory” in Naples. The meeting brought together scholars from different disciplines to explore how Mediterranean cities have been shaped by mobility, conflict, coexistence and cultural exchange. Particular attention was given to the role of historical memory and cultural heritage in supporting social integration, shared narratives and new forms of community-based heritage valorisation.
