Description: Historical mining site (3000 years) linked to the flamenco dance tradition, celebrated in the International Flamenco Songs of the Mine Festival. UNESCO List 2009 (immaterial), 2010. Area: Dismissed mining area in a poor district transformed in the cultural and touristic site of Mining Park of La Unión and Flamenco Museum of Mining. Scale: Regional (1,4 M inh). Projects: Ministry of Industry (2005-2008), National Program of complementary education of students: “Mining Park of La Unión and Flamenco Museum of Mining”, Regional Strategic Plan for the Region of Murcia (2015-2018).  Funding: Public.
